I loved the support the 4 women had for each other. The story held my attention, and it was hard to put the book down because I always wanted to read what was going to happen next to one of the characters. This book is like a breath of fresh air.

The characters feel like your own girlfriends. The way women come together for each other. I thought about the characters throughout my day anxiously waiting to be reading more. For a first-time author, Lisa Allen brings enthusiasm, creativity and excitement to the reader. Looking forward to the sequel or Lisa’s next book.

I read this book in two days. It’s a perfect “beach read”, and they’re my favorite kind. If you’re from Eastern NC, you’ll love references to some of the places you know. Reading this book brought back wonderful memories for me. Although it’s fiction, the main characters speak with true southern flair. I’d recommend you get a copy and see for yourself!

If you are ready to relax, get to know new friends, laugh out loud, or maybe even tear up a bit, this is the book for you. I did a little of it all as I read this book. Being from Eastern NC, I recognized many of the locations in the book and was able to jump right into the story. The characters come to life on the page as the author shows the love and devotion, they have for each other. Their journey is worth the read. You will not be disappointed. As a matter of fact, there are many surprises along the way!
